The ultimate beginners microblading course will teach you all beginners techniques plus Sally’s tips and tricks she has learnt along the years. All courses are 2 students max to ensure you have the opportunity to get more personal 1-2-1 teaching experience to help you gain more knowledge and have more one to one time and to get the most out of your course on how to perfect your work. By having smaller ratio classes gives you more time to ask questions and to really focus on different learning techniques you will be learning throughout the course. 
 
A full kit worth over £500 + is included on the ultimate beginners training course which will contain everything you will need to start your brow journey and to complete your case studies. You kit will include 20 microblades and Handheld tools, handband stencils, mapping string, Monica Ivan’s signature set of pigments, ink soap, Caliper, pigment rings, micro brushes, in depth manual, notepad pens and hair stroke design bible.

  • Day 1 THEORY 

     

    • Teacher & student introduction 
    • Introduction to cosmetic tattooing
    • What is microblading? 
    • How to set up your business, how to apply for your personal and premises license at your local council, legal requirements and social media tips and tricks 
    • Safety, sanitisation and safety 
    • Blood borne pathogens 
    • Anatomy and Physiology 
    • Contraindications identifying different skin infections and irritation. 
    • Fitzpatrick Scale, identifying skin undertones, Pigment Swatches & Colour Theory 
    • Pre Treatment Information, Client Consultations & patch testing, managing expectations 
    • Work space sanitation and how to set up for the treatment. 
    • LIVE DEMO : - “Pre-Draw” & Symmetry Mapping including a video demonstration by Sally  
    • Pre-Draw Practical activity - students will watch a live demo of sally mapping out the brows then you will be able to measure and map on each other.  
    • Sallys Microblading Pattern step by step guide
    • Learning different brow patterns and hairstrokes styles including how to create bespoke brows
    • Brow patterns DEMO - learning different brow patterns 
    • Hair growth patterns and transition points.
    • Practical hairstokes pattern activities 

     

    Day 2 

     

    • Microblading Needle Theory 
    • How to put blades together safely and how to prevent needle stick injury 
    • Understanding pressure and skin depth 
    • Patch testing and consent forms 
    • LIVE DEMO - video content demonstration by Sally - full video of microblading.
    • How to complete a Top-Up Correctly
    • Practical - working on latex practise matts 
    • Working on fruit - learning different skin types and how to adjust pressure accordingly 
    • 3 Point Stretch Demonstration on students including positioning of hands and body
    • Working on 3D manikin head 

     

    Day 3 practical 

     

    • Course Re-Cap & Student, Teacher Q&A
    • Setting up work stations - sanitisation and safety
    • First model arrives - consultation, pre draw and pigment choice  
    • Practical: online and Microblade 
    • Wipe down and sanitise for next model 
    • 2nd model arrives 
    • Consultation, pre draw, and pigment choice 
    • Practical: outline and microblade 
    • Wipe down and sanitise 
    • Content Swap for Social Media Purposes

    In order to fully complete the ultimate beginners microblading course and received your fully accredited course certificate students will be required to complete 5 mapping out case studies once you have passed these case studies you will need to complete 5-10 live model case studies in order to receive constructive feedback from sally. Once you have successfully completed your case studies you will be offered the choice of an additional day where you can bring a model into the training academy and complete your final assessment within the salon and to help perfect your brows and be able to receive more observational points for improvement OR we can award your accredited certificate after competing your case studies via post! We have decided to offer both options for all students as we understand many of are lovey students may travel from afar and might find it difficult to bring a model along! You will also be invited to a student portal where you will be able to receive ongoing support and feedback and join our student community. Once you have completed they course please keep in touch Sally loves to see her students work so she is able to provide support on social media platforms.
